The Syracuse Orange men’s lacrosse team will host the North Carolina Tar Heels in its final game of the regular season. The matchup is set for Saturday, April 26 at 5 p.m. ET.
Syracuse vs. North Carolina airs on ACC Network, and can be streamed live on DirecTV Stream (free trial).

What to know for Syracuse vs. North Carolina
The No. 11 Orange (9-4) have lost two straight games, both came against top-10 teams. They lost to No. 1 Cornell and No. 9 Duke, neither of which were closely contested. It doesn’t get much easier in the regular season finale against the No. 8 Tar Heels, who beat Duke on April 12.
Syracuse standout Joey Spallina had five points (two goals, three assists) in Syracuse’s 11-7 loss to Duke. Other than him, offensive production was mostly dry. Spallina has the seventh-most points (65) and fourth-most assists (36) of any player in the country this season.
North Carolina isn’t one of the best teams to face if your offense is coming off a rough performance. The Tar Heels are one of the best defensive teams in the country, allowing the fifth-fewest goals of any teams this season. One positive for Syracuse: The Orange beat Notre Dame 14-9 a few weeks ago. North Carolina lost to the Fighting Irish 12-6 in its most recent game.
The Orange still have a shot for the one seed in the upcoming ACC Tournament. If they win and Notre Dame loses, Syracuse will have the top seed.
