Because they are an older model. The HD560S is the newer version. I bought the HD599SE when it was $99 and thought it was a bargain; it is a steal at this price. If anyone is wondering, the SE is just cosmetic differences compared to the regular HD599.

No info about the impedance. On the manufacturer's website it says 50 Ω, but I don't know if there are different versions.

Crazy price. I had the old hd598 open back for nearly a decade. Very bright wide sound stage. Not as good as my hifiman xs, but great for counterstrike. You don't need an amp, they're loud enough imo. 80$ price seems ridiculous when they're normally selling in the 130-170$ price point last I remember.

Excellent price. I bought them on Amazon for the same price on October 10th. It must have been a lightning deal or similar. I had to return them because I could not get the cable to fully screw into the cup after removing it. Yes, I know it uses a twist lock mechanism.
